NEIGHBOURHOOD
Sinfin Neighbourhood Team is organising a
Osmaston Skip Day
on
Wednesday 4 March 2009
A FREE skip will be at each of the following locations on
Wednesday 4 March:
Time Location

9 am Bingham Street Housing Office
9am Osmaston Housing Office
9.30 am Flint Street
9.30 am Allen Street
10 am Wilkins Drive
10 am Mowbray Gardens
10.30 am Grosvenor St
10.30 am Addison Road

These skips have been provided to help you dispose of
unwanted items safely and responsibly.
The skips will be removed as soon as they are full.
First come… first served!

You may use the skips to dispose of…
• general household bagged waste
• garden waste/cuttings
• washing machines
• cookers
• metal
• wooden items, such as small items of furniture.
Stewards will be able to advise you on the day.
You must not use these skips to dispose of:
• Car batteries
• Computer monitors
• Freezers
• Fridges
• *Asbestos
• Household waste
• Oils
• Paints
• TVs
• Tyres
• *Hazardous/toxic materials
*Asbestos can be disposed of at Raynesway Recycling Centre.
Fridges and freezers can be collected and disposed of free of charge –
telephone 01332 255256.
Please do not leave your items on the land, road or path next to the
skips. Put your items in the skips and if the skips are full, or your
items won’t fit in, you will have to dispose of your items at Raynesway
Recycling Centre.
